Muse ha lanzado el primer sencillo oficial de su próxima producción discográfica, The Resistance, que lleva por título Uprising.
Uprising ha sido dada a conocer a tan sólo unas semanas de que también lo hiciera United States of Eurasia, pieza con la cual se dió a conocer la quinta placa de estudio de esta banda inglesa.
Lo más interesante de este nuevo tema es el sonido logrado por Bellany, Howard y Wolstenholme con unas bases más electrónicas acopladas al sonido ya característico del grupo, totalmente diferente del presentado en el primer corte de The Resistance.
En cierto momento, sobretodo en la parte instrumental, recuerda a Goldfrapp o incluso Personal Jesus de Depeche Mode. Esto resulta un tanto sorprendente ya que la pieza anterior, United States of Eurasia, ha sido muy comparada con Bohemian Rhapsody de Queen.
Uprising ya puede adquirida digitalmente en varios sitios de música, incluyendo iTunes, y servirá para calentar los motores de cara al 14 de septiembre cuando finalmente vea la luz The Resistance.
